Things you don’t know about De’Longhi:
- They started in 1902 in Treviso, Italy, making small industrial parts (which is a pretty broad description – I’m imagining cogs though, if it helps).
- They bought Kenwood in 2001 for £46 million! That gave them access to Kenwood’s factory in China, and a lot of their stuff (kettles included) is now designed in Italy at De’Longhi HQ and manufactured over there. What a time to be alive!
- They make some lovely kettles.
